We have 8 varieties of wonderfully delicious and juicy plump plums all bursting with flavor.
Available the month of July. Fresh picked plums are also available in our farm store Saturday and Sunday, and pre-picked at our farm stand Monday through Friday.
Health benefits of Plums
Plums are low in calories (46 calories per 100 g) and contain no saturated fats; vitamins (C, A, Beta Carotene, B-complex, K) and minerals (iron,potassium).
Pick plums rich in purple, red or yellow color and have sweet aroma.
When ready to eat, rinse them in cold water. Fresh ripe plums should be enjoyed as a whole along with skin.
Harder plums you can keep at room temperature in which they will ripen quicker. Plums that are soft to touch off the tree are ready to eat.
You can freeze them whole and just bring out to room temperature for baking. We wouldn't recommend freezing them for anything else.
